Schloss Hof receives the "Goldener Igel" award

Our garden at the estate farm and our orangery have once again been awarded the "GOLDER IGEL" award (Golden Hedgehog).

This is awarded annually by the Lower Austrian environmental movement "Natur im Garten" and honours show gardens that are designed and maintained in a natural and purely ecological way.

By avoiding the use of synthetic chemical pesticides, fertilisers and peat, the garden team of Schloss Hof estate makes a significant contribution to environmental, species and climate protection in Lower Austria. The idea is to support and promote the design of gardens and green spaces as well as the protection of biodiversity.

We cherish and cultivate our sustainable garden culture and are delighted to receive this award. A big thank you goes to our hardworking gardeners who maintain our baroque garden every day.
